Jeffrey T. Mitchell, MA, MS, LPC, LAC, has built a notable career grounded in his comprehensive educational background and professional licensure. Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder, obtained in 1997, he laid the foundation for his journey in mental health and well-being. Mr. Mitchell’s commitment to furthering his expertise led him to achieve a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration from Capella University in 2005, followed by a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in 2013. Jeffrey’s dedication to his professional development culminated in obtaining his licensure as a Professional Counselor in 2018.
In 2007, Jeffrey founded New Paradigm Counseling, a testament to his personal and professional commitment to providing education and counseling. Jeffrey’s practice specializes in assisting individuals and groups as they navigate the challenges associated with DWAI/DUI offenses, substance abuse, anger management, and various other mental health issues. Through his work, Jeffrey has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to supporting his community and his clients’ journey towards healing and self-improvement, embodying the values of empathy, education, and empowerment in his counseling approach.
Evonne Levy

Counselor
Dr. Evonne Levy, with a Doctorate in Spiritual Studies (DSS), is a distinguished professional in the realm of holistic health, wellness, and mind-body therapies. As a Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS) and a Recovery Coach, she brings a wealth of expertise to individuals struggling with addiction, use and overuse. Furthermore, Dr. Evonne is a Certified Strategic Interventionist Coach (CPC), adept at guiding individuals, couples, and families through transformative personal and spiritual development processes. Her credentials also include being a Practitioner of Religious Science (RScP), which adds a unique spiritual dimension to her coaching practice.
For over a decade, Dr. Evonne has dedicated herself to empowering her clients, fostering extraordinary relationships, and helping them navigate the complexities of life with resilience, acceptance and mindfulness. Dr. Evonne’s holistic approach combines her diverse certifications and her deep understanding of human behavior, making her a pivotal figure in the lives of those she coaches. Through her guidance, clients achieve profound growth, healing, and a greater sense of purpose.
Nathan Haines
MA, LPCC, ADDC, PRTC, NCC
Counselor
Nathan earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Kinesiology and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Northern Colorado. After finishing his internship at Valiant Living in Greenwood Village, Colorado, he earned his National Counselor Certification (NCC).
Nathan completed his studies at the Colorado School of Family to obtain his Addiction Counselor Candidate (ADDC) credential.
Nathan’s theoretical approach is to assist clients in navigating their own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Self-exploration is a deeply personal and thoughtful journey that could benefit from client-centered treatment, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness practices.
Exploring how perceptions influence one’s actions and behaviors could help bring you closer to your authentic self while working toward personal development. Every client’s experience is unique and multifaceted, encompassing familial relationships, community, and cultural systems.
CARMEL JOY L. LLABORE-LORETE
Administrative Assistant (Remote)
Carmel Joy L. Llabore-Lorete is our dedicated Administrative Assistant working remotely. She graduated from Bicol University in the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management. Carmel obtained her Master of Management in Business Management from the University of the Philippines in 2018. She continued her studies in basic Chinese at the Confucius Institute at Ateneo De Manila University in the Philippines, where she earned HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) language competency Levels I and II certificates in 2019. In 2020, Carmel completed additional certificates in Professional Skills for International Business at the University of London, Inspiring and Motivating Individuals at the University of Michigan, and Digital Transformation at the University of Virginia.
Drawing from her extensive 10-year experience in government offices in the Philippines, Carmel excels in strategic initiatives, marketing events, and client services. Her passion extends to communication channels related to fashion, beauty, and wellness, emphasizing the importance of confidence-building. She firmly believes in the continuous journey of being useful and compassionate, making a positive difference in the lives of others. This commitment motivates her to share her valuable insights within New Paradigm’s understanding community focused on recovery and growth.
